26 Days Out: Playground Dumbbell

After a couple days off (and a championship baseball victory!) I’m ready to tackle my last couple weeks as a 30 something.

Today I took a 40 lb. dumbbell to the playground and did little hybrid workout with some traditional exercise mixed in with some playground apparatus. Ended up being quite a workout and inspired me to head back in a couple days to do some more exercises on the playground with my dumbbell.

Playground Dumbbell

Series of hill walks carrying the DB in different positions

4 rounds:

Goblet Squat x 10

One Arm Press x 10 each arm

Split Squat x 10 each side

Alternating One Arm Snatch x 40

3 rounds:

One Arm Row x 15,13,12 each side

One Arm Push x 15,13,12 each side

Step Up x 15,13,12 each side

Weighted Hang x 40 sec

One Arm Weighted Hang x 40 sec

Pullover x 40

Alternating sets:

Hanging One Arm Curl x 4,4,4,4,4

Lying Tricep Extension x 10,10,10,10
